Langa residents are shocked after two men were shot and killed in broad daylight on Saturday 17 December.
The incident happened at the corner Ndlwana and Nkumo street at 15:15.
The men were driving in a Mercedes Benz when they were shot by unknown men who fled the scene. When Ezitshisayo arrived at the scene, the bodies of the two men were inside the car in the front seats.
Residents said they heard gunshots and later saw the car moving with no one holding the steering. It was stopped by the barrier on the side of the road.
“The killing was well planned. They targeted the heads of both suspects,” said a woman who witnessed the incident.
The killing has shocked many people. Hawkers who sell meat close by said the car was moving slowly from the nearby flats.

“It was an ambush, they were driving slowly on the road with playing some music. The next thing shots are being fired from both sides,” said the hawker.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said they investigating a double murder.
“Police have not arrested any suspect. The motive for the attack is unknown,” he said.
