Police spokesman Sergeant Wesley Twigg said cops recieved a tip off about an impending robbery. Officers attached to Operation Lockdown II responded to the information and arrested four suspects, aged between 30 and 36. He said members followed up on information received about a business robbery that would be perpetrated at a supermarket in Langa. “A description of the vehicle and suspects were also given. The vehicle and the occupants were searched upon which two pistols, ammunition, bulletproof vests and police uniform pieces were found in the vehicle,” said Twigg.
