Civil action organisation AfriForum wants to start its own electricity generation company.
The organisation told City Press that they are at an advanced stage towards creating its own electricity.
The organisation is working with an organisation called C5 Capital which invests in nuclear energy. The organisation said they are fed up of load shedding.
The organisation said the nuc;lear-bed reactor that will be used for the generation of electricity is currently built in the USA.
AfriForum said they are tired of load shedding that has been causing a lot of disruptions in the country.
