Floyd Shivambu resigned from EFF?
EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu has joined MK Party.

Floyd Shivambu resigned as the EFF’s deputy president on Wednesday 14 August at night. This is according to various news houses including the News24 and SABC.

The EFF released a press invite at 12:22 in the middle of the night inviting the media to attend “urgent press conference”.

The press conference that is expected to take place this afternoon at 12pm. “The EFF invites the media to attend an urgent press conference today which will be addressed by the EFF officials,” a media invited posted on EFF’s X account says.

The statement was also shared by Shivambu. The EFF deputy president who is active on X does not miss any opportunity to set the record straight but he has not done so.

Among other leaders, Carl Niehaus who was also believed to be leaving EFF has denied the allegations. He did so through his X account where he posted his video.

“Malicious rumours broadcasted by SABC News that I am apparently leaving the EFF are fake news. I remain loyal member of the EFF and have absolutely no reason or intention to leave my party the EFF,” said Niehaus.
